Solid Heart pine has been used for floors for hundreds of years and it gives a warmth and feel to a floor that just can't be beat. Flooring like this has been used in million dollar Lake Tahoe and Colorado ski resort homes.  Also, because of its unique beauty and strength, Heart Pine was used in public buildings, private homes and plantations as well as larger construction. Most early homes in the South used Heart Pine for flooring, furniture and cabinetry. 
 
Because it's solid, it can be sanded and refinished without fear. These planks are 5 1/8" wide, 3/4" thick and come in varying lengths from 12" to 7'. The planks are tongue & groove on all four edges and there are relief grooves on the bottom.
